Buena Vista — 2 nights

The Town of Buena Vista is a Statutory Town in Chaffee County, Colorado, United States. Start off your visit on the 12th (Mon): get a taste of the local shopping with Sundance and Friends, contemplate the waterfront views at Cottonwood Lake, and then shake up your sightseeing with a climbing tour. On your second day here, see a world frozen in time at Vicksburg and then see a world frozen in time at St. Elmo.

Crested Butte is a home rule municipality in Gunnison County, Colorado, United States. Do some cultural sightseeing at Crested Butte Mountain Resort and Crested Butte Mountain Heritage Museum. Take a break from the city and head to Neversink and Hartman Rocks Recreation Area. Step out of Crested Butte to go to Gunnison and see Curecanti Creek, which is approximately 38 minutes away. And it doesn't end there: hike along Lower Loop Mountain Bike Trail, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Union Congregational Church, and explore the activities along Meridian Lake.
