Aptly nicknamed the "Mile-High City," Denver sits at an altitude of 1,600 m (5,280 ft) above sea level, located right where the Great Plains give way to the Rocky Mountains.
On the 24th (Fri), browse the exhibits of Molly Brown House Museum, take in nature's colorful creations at Denver Botanic Gardens, and then see the sky in a new way at Denver Museum of Nature & Science. Here are some ideas for day two: take an in-depth tour of Hotel de Paris Museum, let the river carry you with a rafting and tubing tour, and then push the limits with an extreme tour.
