Zagreb boasts a combination of Austro-Hungarian and Socialist architecture, but it is beloved for its outdoor cafe culture.
Explore hidden gems such as Trakoscan Castle (Dvor Trakoscan) and Atelier Mestrovic. Krapina Neanderthal Museum and Zagreb 80's Museum are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Step out of Zagreb with an excursion to Staro selo museum in Kumrovec--about 1h 10 min away.
