Traveling by car from Noboribetsu to Otaru takes 2 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or take a bus. Expect a daytime high around 15°C in October, and nighttime lows around 11°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 10th (Tue) to allow enough time to drive to Sapporo.

A modern, bustling city known for its beer brewery, Sapporo attracts millions of visitors with its Snow Festival, during which elaborate ice and snow sculptures are exhibited all over town.

Step out of Sapporo to go to Chitose and see Sky Museum, New Chitose Airport, which is approximately 56 minutes away.
