Trieste is a charming old town with a quiet atmosphere often compared to eastern European cities.
On the 6th (Fri), ponder the world of politics at Palazzo del Lloyd Triestino (oggi della Giunta Regionale), don't miss a visit to Piazza dell'Unita d'Italia, then appreciate the history behind The Girls of Trieste, then take in the waterfront at Molo Audace - Gia "Molo S. Carlo", and finally contemplate the waterfront views at Grand Canal.
