Drive from Noboribetsu to Hakodate in 3 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train. October in Hakodate sees daily highs of 18°C and lows of 9°C at night. You will have some time to spend on the 13th (Fri) before leaving for Shakotan-cho.

On the 13th (Fri), don't miss a visit to Cape Shakotan, explore the striking landscape at Cape Kamui, and then kick back and relax at Shimamu Beach.

You can drive from Hakodate to Shakotan-cho in 4.5 hours. Traveling from Hakodate in October, you will find days in Shakotan-cho are slightly colder (15°C), and nights are about the same (11°C). Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 13th (Fri) to allow enough time to drive to Yoichi-cho.

Getting from Shakotan-cho to Yoichi-cho by car takes about an hour. October in Yoichi-cho sees daily highs of 15°C and lows of 11°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 13th (Fri) early enough to drive to Otaru.

You can drive from Otaru to Sapporo in an hour. Alternatively, you can take a train; or take a bus. In October, daily temperatures in Sapporo can reach 15°C, while at night they dip to 11°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 17th (Tue) early enough to drive to Chitose.
