Ubud — 3 nights

Experience small-town Bali in Ubud, an atmospheric town surrounded by small settlements, farms, and rice paddies.
Ubud is known for parks, spas, and classes. Your trip includes some of its best attractions: tour the pleasant surroundings at Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary, Head underground at Elephant Cave, make a trip to Tegalalang Rice Terrace, and admire the masterpieces at Tanah Merah Museum.

Muscat, Oman to Ubud is an approximately 14.5-hour flight. You'll lose 4 hours traveling from Muscat to Ubud due to the time zone difference. In January, Ubud is somewhat warmer than Muscat - with highs of 36°C and lows of 28°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 11th (Wed) early enough to go by car to Seminyak.

A popular resort town offering a good range of tourist trips, activities, and amenities, Seminyak houses numerous tour companies providing excursions into the jungles of Bali.
Explore Seminyak's surroundings by going to Uluwatu Temple (in Pecatu), Jimbaran (Jimbaran Bay & Samasta Lifestyle Village) and Tanah Lot Temple (in Beraban). There's still lots to do: cool off at Waterbom Bali, kick back and relax at Seminyak Beach, head outdoors with Outdoor Activities, and test your problem-solving skills at popular escape rooms.

Traveling by car from Ubud to Seminyak takes 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus. In January, daily temperatures in Seminyak can reach 36°C, while at night they dip to 28°C. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 18th (Wed) to allow time for the flight back home.
