Kaprun — 2 nights

Start off your visit on the 9th (Thu): fly down the slopes at Kitzsteinhorn, then see the world from above with a helicopter tour, and then get outside with Grossglockner High Alpine Road. Keep things going the next day: fly down the slopes at Pro-Skischule, take in the spiritual surroundings of Dekanatspfarrkirche St. Johann in Tirol, and then fly down the slopes at Ski Deisenberger.

Traveling by car from Salzburg to Kaprun takes 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or do a combination of train and bus. In March, plan for daily highs up to 11°C, and evening lows to 0°C. On the 11th (Sat), you're off to home.
