With 1,677 national heritage sites, Maastricht is a town rich in history.
Start off your visit on the 16th (Fri): get in on the excitement at EuroParcs Resort Limburg. Keep things going the next day: wander the streets of Grote Staat, then admire the striking features of Boekhandel Dominicanen, then make a trip to Vrijthof, and finally explore the fascinating underground world of Maastricht Underground.

Istanbul, Turkey to Maastricht is an approximately 9-hour combination of flight and train. You can also drive; or do a combination of car and train. The time zone changes from Turkey Time to Central European Standard Time, which is usually a -2 hour difference. Expect little chillier temperatures when traveling from Istanbul in June; daily highs in Maastricht reach 25°C and lows reach 13°C. Schiermonnikoog is an island, a municipality, and a national park in the northern Netherlands. On the 19th (Mon), hike along Het Bouwe Hoekstrapad, then enjoy the sea views from Noordertoren, then surround yourself with nature on Eilander Balg Express, and finally head off the coast to Nationaal Park Schiermonnikoog. Keep things going the next day: stroll the grounds of Vredenhof, contemplate the long history of Bunker Wassermann, then pause for some photo ops at Statue "de Schiere Monnik", and finally enjoy the sand and surf at Oosterstrand.
