Apart from the beauty of its mountain landscapes, Sappada also boasts a particular rural architecture of wooden houses built using an ancient technique called "blockbau." Thanks to its location in the imposing Dolomites, the village serves as a popular tourist destination in both winter and summer months.
Kick off your visit on the 1st (Fri): admire the sheer force of Sappada Waterfalls and then get to know the fascinating history of Old Sappada. On your second day here, trek along Calvi Mountain Hut, appreciate the extensive heritage of Pesariis, and then wander the streets of Borgata Cima Sappada.
