Trieste is a charming old town with a quiet atmosphere often compared to eastern European cities.
Trieste is known for historic sites, sightseeing, and museums. Your trip includes some of its best attractions: don't miss a visit to Piazza dell'Unita d'Italia, contemplate the waterfront views at Trieste Gulf, step into the grandiose world of Miramare Castle-Historical Museum, and Head underground at The Cave "Grotta Gigante".

Stockholm, Sweden to Trieste is an approximately 8-hour combination of flight and shuttle. You can also drive; or take a train. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 4th (Mon) early enough to drive to Udine.
