Impressive church in the middle of the center of the late 15th century, definitely worth a visit. Nice volunteers who are willing to provide text and explanation. A large number of old gravestones on the floor (the oldest is from 1523!) Plus some beautifully painted guild bars. It depicts the work of skippers, farmers, silversmiths, carpenters, pharmacists and surgeons. Even in Workum, the finiteness of life is never far away.

Beautiful building, just a pity that the rest of Workum, with the exception of the full terraces, was almost deserted.
