Take a condensed tour of Holland at Madurodam, an interactive miniature theme park focused on Dutch cultural traditions and historical sites. This impressive, well-visited park opened in 1952 and features small-scale replicas of the most famous landmarks, cities, and landscapes in the Netherlands. Look for Rijksmuseum, Binnenhof, Port of Rotterdam, tulip fields, windmills, and small recreations of traditional Dutch canal homes. Don't try to count the tiny lights--there are 50,000--in this shrunken city. You'll have better luck with the number of miniature planes stationed at the Amsterdam Airport Schiphol replica. Take a look at our The Hague trip planning website to schedule your visit to Madurodam and learn about what else to see and do during your holiday.

Good experience, great place to take visitors if they would like to look at the whole of the Netherlands but don’t have enough time to actually tour the Netherlands. It looks very kid friendly, a lot for kids to do, as we went with 4 adults, it was great to look around and have some food and drinks, but you wouldn’t spend as long there as you would do with kids. The food and drinks were good, the most expensive I have paid since visiting anywhere, but we did notice a lot of people decided to take there own food which is also a good option. It’s something I wouldn’t do again until a while later but it was a good experience

The miniatures were really nice and well detailed a very cute amusement park that shows a lot of the Netherlands. The information videos were really nice as well. A 3 star experience for me because none of the interactive models worked when I went and that was way more disappointing than if there weren't any. I would hope they work if I were to go again.
