Vrijthof, Maastricht

The beautiful city square in Maastricht. All around you have plenty of restaurants with a wide range of food items. On one side you have the beautiful churches. A nice place to hangout in Maastricht.

It felt very good to be back there after my last visit in 2019. But this time it was for my kid. He loved it absolutely. The layout was different this time and we (my kid especially since that was what he was looking forward to) sorely missed the santa house and saying hi to him. Ice-Skating rink, Ferris wheel, Merry-go-round and a tube slide were the kids attraction points then. Apart from that were the usual finger food and winter ware sellers. I personally did not shop anything, and only indulged in chipped coconut sweet balls. Lots of selfie points available throughout, bright led lights everywhere (sometimes too much).
