They always have very nice expositions, the café-restaurant is pleasant with a lovely view, and the staff is super firendly.

30-40 % of the whole exhibition was interesting to see, other part was very boring & not impressive at all. Staff very friendly. Beautiful windows & view in cafe inside. Park behind is beautiful ♥️

This is a lovely art gem in the middle of Friesland. The building consists of two wings coupled by a see through restaurant over a canal. Because of this intelligent architecture the museum blends into the landscape. One wing of the museum holds the permanent collection of contemporary (1980 - onwards) art. In the other wing you will find temporary exhibitions. If the art is not your thing you will certainly enjoy a walk around the acres and acres of land surrounding the museum.
