Kaashuis Tromp, Haarlem

Very cool cheese shop with a wide variety of cheese all very nicely displayed. Alongside cheese there are also some other deli items like cured meats and salad, as well as a small amount of kitchen accessories - e.g. a small fondue set. The real draw of this shop though is the fresh sandwiches and bakery items available at the counter. The sandwich menu is interesting, the bread is tasty, and the value for money is good. Some sandwiches, such as the brie, honey and walnut, are served warm (and this one in particular is very decadent!). There is no indoor seating, sandwiches and bakery items are for takeaway only. Cards are accepted, including international credit cards, which is a plus. Overall, a great place for a quick lunch on the go in Haarlem, hidden behind a very impressive selection of cheese.

Great cheese shop, they have so many different cheeses. I bought cheese for raclette, I had a very friendly and professional service. I highly recommend this shop.
