Avonturenboerderij Molenwaard, Groot-Ammers

Fun place for children up to five years. The staff is incredibly nice. Five stars for Schipper Bertus who managed to turn a simple boat ride into a positive and hilarious experience. The man has great energy and it wasn‘t an act, he genuinely enjoyed entertaining the guests. Manager, please give this man a raise, a bonus or a training course for the rest of the staff (not that the rest of the staff weren’t nice, but still). Naggy children and adults alike, please take notes! If there would be a paper I could sign to have such enthusiasm at his age (I think he may have been close to or past retirement age), I would without a second of hesitation. I was kind of feeling half out of it from a mild cold and a bad night of sleep on arrival at the park, but his attitude kind of set the tone for the rest of day there for me and helped me enjoy the day so much more. The location is fittingly in typical dutch farmlands. Guest entree is limited so it never get‘s too crowded in the park.

Very nice place for small kids, a lot of fun activities and animals.
