Burgers' Zoo and Safaripark, home to over 10,000 animals from more than 500 species, welcomes 1.5 million tourists per year and is one of the biggest zoos in the country. Within its 45 hectares (110 acres) of land, the park showcases different regions of the earth, including mangrove forests, plains, and oceans. Watch African rhinos, giraffes, and gnus share a watering hole, and observe large cats from a wooden cabin within their habitat. Pass through dark tunnels filled with stalactites and stalagmites, home to snakes and blind fish. View the largest aquarium coral reef outside of Australia. It is one of the best zoos that i visited. Zoo is well organized and it is easy to see all animals. It ia also very clean. We saw almost all animals.

Great effort has been put to maintain this zoo and different habitats. There's a desert, safari and ocean section among some of the sections. The ocean section was pretty fascinating to check out. Can spend the whole day here. The restaurant though has pretty limited options. So maybe better to carry your own snacks. Great place for kids to play near the entrance.

One of the best zoos in the Netherlands. Animals habitats here are quite big, natural and well maintained. I also loved the overall design of the Ocean and Desert areas. Would definitely love to go there again.
