This is one of the best places in Thailand to watch a sunset .. period Here's a tip. Park at the gate before you get to the main entrance and walk around the gate and up the side road to the observation point. It's a lot easier to get in and out from there. There is no fee. There is a trail going down to the very tip of the point that is navigable but remember if you go down there for sunset it's going to be dark on your way back.

Just don’t think twice n simply go n see … it’s a beautiful spot. Enough place for everyone to sit n click n enjoy. Come by 5:30 to see transition to sunset which was at around 6:30 and stayed till 7 to see glory of nature. Such a peaceful place for solo traveler like me and even pretty romantic for couples! Lovely.
