Phuket Easy Thai Cooking, Rawai

My wife and I took this class while on our honeymoon. We both do quite a bit of cooking at home, but this was our first formal cooking class. We arranged for pick up at a fee below the Grab/taxi rates. All of the supplies were included with the tuition. The class started with a tour of a local open air market. The class was quite small (3), so we had ample one-on-one instructions. Our instructor was immediately available whenever we needed her. She provided great insights in to finding the ingredients, substitutes, and of course the prep/cooking process. We prepared a 3 course meal that was easy, delicious and authentic. As with many human services in Thailand the value was so tremendous that you feel a bit guilty for how inexpensive it is. We have a large debt of gratitude for Phuket Easy Thai Cooking, and recommend it to anyone looking to keep their Thai vacation going back at home.

I had an amazing morning with karn. At the moment it is a bit more quiet with the cooking classes, so I had a private class! First, we went to the local market to buy some veggies and meat which is a nice experience. After, we cooked the food and karn explained passionately her way of cooking and the ingredients (of which she is growing some in her own garden) It was a lot of fun and we laughed a lot together. Highly recommended!
