Clean and tranquil. Highly recommended. Also visit Kata Nai. It’s a nice one. Specially away from madness of Patong.

Yes love it! Stayed up the road for three weeks. Pretty clean. Super touristy. Gets very busy. Water warm. Rent a surfboard, fly about in a parachute pulled by a speed boat, get a (sandy?) massage, buy some (pretty decent) RayBans dupes from the beach hawkers. Whichever end of Kata Beach you choose is beautiful and sunset is lovely.

Good beach to hang out at. Good waves for surfers but generally swimmable for the moderate swimmer. Family friendly beach.
