Palacio de Cibeles was once the headquarters of the Spanish postal service, but since 2007 the striking white building has served as Madrid City Hall. For a small charge, you can climb or take an elevator up to the observatory area for panoramic views of the city. Purchase your tickets at the information desk on the second floor.
