  • Tickets were less than half the price of the Prado and the Thyssen is well worth a visit. Well set out loads of room and some great pictures where you can take your time.

  • Beautiful drawings! As a person who is "not that much into art" I had a lot of fun and was very impressed. From what I read, they have the second biggest private collection in the world, with more than 1600 paintings/drawings. I saw different (styles?) of painting and it was beautiful. Take in account that the museum is big, and that for some of the paintings there is an explanation, so I recommend to go with headphones.
  • What an easy museum to take in. My husband and I stopped here and spent the morning walking though the galleries. We absolutely loved everything and the staff made it easy to give directions. We also opted for the audio tour for an extra 5 euro. It was worth the price and be able to get deep understanding about several works in each section.
