A Renaissance structure with a large inner yard, Gewerkenegg Castle contains a museum of engineering and industrial heritage. Inside, exhibits and collections preserve the heritage of the region's mercury mining days.     Amazing museum and the English text are all there! Lots of interesting pictures from the historical Idrija. You really get to know what Idrija was and is like. A very good museum. Also from here you....  more
