Possibly dating back to the 12th century, the building features only two windows.     From Ljubljana, I did the Coast tour (Slovenia Explorer). On the way to Purin, we stopped at this church which is about 3 miles off the A1 highway. It's a beautiful church with it's wall covered in.....  more

    Very important Slovenian culture site. A must see! Very nice courator.

    Not far from the highway, magnificent small church from 12 century with marvelous frescos inside - masterpiece. Dance of death is special. The church is behind a protective wall. Entrance fee 3eur.
