Create an itinerary including The Grassalkovich palace - Presidential palace
Once a residence of some of Slovakia's wealthy nobles, The Grassalkovich palace - Presidential palace today serves as the home of Slovakia's president. You can view the 18th-century palace's exterior, noting its similarity in terms of design to many other famous European summer palaces of the era. Admire the residence's ornate decorations and style, which combines both Baroque and Rococo architecture. Because the palace serves as an important government facility, it does not open its doors to the public. Be sure to catch the daily changing of the guard ritual, if possible, or go for a stroll in the public gardens surrounding the palace. • It was a nice building sitting up above the old town area. You can walk there or catch public transport up there if you want. Its worth a photo if you're in the area.

  • One of the place known as White House of Slovakia’s also known as the official seat of the president of Slovakia , one must visit this place to have the beautiful view of presidential palace which is near by city centre also well accessible by tram(public transport) too. Also outside is having view of fountains too where one can have pleasant time.
  • I'm not really impressed with the place itself but if there's hot air, you can cool yourself with the fountain in front of the building, which is an asset.
