Immerse yourself in the world of Catherine the Great with a visit to Tsaritsyno Museum-Reserve, located in the southeastern section of Moscow. Designed on the Empress's orders and built on a truly grand scale, this vast estate features a grand palace surrounded by landscaped gardens, artificial grottos, picnic pavilions, decorative bridges, dense forests, and rolling fields. Unfinished during Catherine's life, the sprawling complex remained abandoned for nearly two centuries. Extensively redesigned and finally completed in 2007, the complex offers visitors a rare insight into the lifestyle of European royalty. The easiest way to explore the grounds is by guided tour, so make your arrangements before you make the trip. Quickly create a custom-made itinerary for Moscow using our trip planner.

A very beautiful collection of natural and artificial elements that all together have formed a unique colony. The park dates back to the 18th century and forms a series of monuments in Moscow Also, this park has excellent circulation and unique harmony of colors.

Very beautiful park with historical buildings. There is enough space to walk and there a some little museums you can visit that tell you the history and origins of the buildings. You can eat here as well, at a ‘hotdog’ stand or you can sit somewhere and have a tea. And you can get little souvenirs at little stands all across the park.
