Lead to the only high school of the town. Over 150 steps. Was built with cover to protect those escaping the enemy’s arrows in the event of a “take over”.

Scholar’s Stairs was built in 1642, over 380 years at now and is still well maintained. The main purpose was to allow people to reach the church and the school easily in the winter time, obviating the problems caused by the snow.
