A realy beautifull place, I would call it even a hidden pearl. When paying for the tickets you also get a free guide(10 lei adult, 5 lei students). I got a tall guy as a guide which was patient and willing to answer any question, the.other guides(female) were very inauspicious.

Located 45 minutes from Bucharest, this palace is a must-stop if you travel west to Pitesti or the town of Targoviste. It is representative of the XVII century Romanian Brancovenesc architecture style. Only a few years ago the place was a total ruin. I believe that this place will become a 5 stars site after the finalization of the restoration works. Nevertheless....stop and see it.
