Sport Wellness Spa, Poiana Brasov

We came as visitors from outside around the December 1st holiday break. The check in was smooth and reception staff very friendly and helpful. The spa was full, not enough lounge chairs and i experienced it a bit too cold temperature- wise. However, this is quite common for big hotels that around holidays the common areas get crowded. What was bad was the SPA itself. The jacuzzi water was dirty with some black bits that looked like sunflower seed shells that would get stuck to your skin 😝 The staff is not checking on guests and there are people coming with the wet swimming suit directly in the finnish sauna without a towel. There was a family fully dressed and with boots from outside walking around the spa area and even going in the saunas to have a look 😫. Staff were not saying anything and zero education is being done to people on how saunas are used so that everyone can have a good time.

Nice spa with saunas and jacuzzis. The hotel is close the the ski area and has it’s own parking. The spa is not only accessible to hotel guests for 120lei. The dry sauna and steam sauna are big enough for 4-6 people. The outside jacuzzi is heated and very enjoyable when it’s cold outside. Inside is another smaller jacuzzi and a swimming pool.
