    Beautiful church, clean surroundings and most of all the land around was filled with plants, dozens of species, like a botanical garden. Beautiful!

    Too bad the old church was replaced by the cathedral-like church in the 18th century. Somehow we did not “click” with this monastery. The road from DN67 to this place is fine and the parking place...

    The monastery is beautiful, at the bottom of wild mountains. The church is rebuilt at 1850 in That style and the paintings done by a famous painter of the time are superb. There is a path to a cave and up the hill there is also a small stone church with beautiful exterior decorations. It is funny to see for the first time people crawling under the hundreds years old remains of a person thinking that this way they will be lucky, God will help them.

    Second time I visit. I especially liked the small cave you can visit for which the path starts inside the monastery.
