National Museum of Art of Romania (Muzeul Nakional de Arta al Romaniei)
At National Museum of Art of Romania (Muzeul Nakional de Arta al Romaniei), discover Romanian medieval and modern art, as well as works by European masters like Rembrandt, Rubens, Brueghel, and El Greco. A former royal residence, originally built by a wealthy trader in 1812, houses the collection of national and European art dating from the 15th to the 20th centuries. The museum exhibits over 100,000 works including medieval icons, illustrated manuscripts, carved altars, and fragments of wall painting, as well as works by famous 20th-century artists. See an early Brancusi sculpture and lesser-known art pieces by Monet, Renoir, and Cezanne. The museum has opened up its throne room and occasionally organizes guided tours through the former imperial living quarters. There are a lot of paintings, clothes, ornaments and other things of christian theme. Definitely give it a visit if you're into this kind of things. Multiple different schools are represented on different floors so you can feel the difference. Among the other things, Spanish school space is very hot. Literally. Not sure if paintings are feeling better in a climate similar to a home one :)

The Romanian Gallery of Modern Art is worth visiting. You can see there a full range of Romanian famous painters that contributed at a global level. It is a pity that there was no souvenir shop and there is poor marketing of this museum.
