Ride the gentle waves and explore the nearby caves of Playa Navio. This secluded beach offers a serene atmosphere with white sand and clear blue waters. Palm trees and sea grape plants line the beachfront, and cliffs enclose the beach on either side. The offshore break offers moderate waves that work for beginning surfers and boogie boarders. Venture out around the cliffs to find hidden caves and climb the rock faces to jump into the water. Navio Beach can be accessed through the entrance of Sun Bay Beach; be aware that there are no lifeguards on duty here. This is a rough ride but a great beach. The waves were too rough when we were there to snorkel but it’s really beautiful.

Beautiful beach!!! Yes, there is some seaweed... But it's not stinky and you can step over it and swim in the beautiful, clear waters. It's tricky getting here!! Google maps lead us astray and some fellow travelers guided us in the right direction. Good luck getting here in either a golf cart or jeep... The road leading here is not for the faint of heart!

Upon my visit today, you couldn't get in the water because of all the smelly seaweed. Looks like it may be nice if the seaweed wasn't there, but the odor was enough to make me leave. Bummer. I'll have to try another time and perhaps update my review. Pretty, otherwise.
