The docents were helpful and for those of us who were limited in our Spanish, spoke English well. The museum is truly a period piece, showing off the wealth of the owners, and is very well...

I know this place is supposed to be magnificent, but I only went to an open area where my Sorority's activity was taking place and never moved from there, so I didn't get to visit the rest of this castle! Just the view of ALL the city of Ponce and surrounding areas was breathtaking, so I can just imagine how beautiful it is ( other members of the Sorority did visit the Castle). I promise to visit the next time I go to Ponce. BTW, you can schedule a tour of this wonderful place! The Serralles family is the same who have elaborated Don Q Rum, my personal favorite and my family's, and well known ALL AROUND the world. Puerto Rico is not only about Bacardi, you know.....🤷🏻♀️

Excellent location for a half day adventure. The location has three attractions on the grounds. The museum tour is very much worth it for the price ($5) as the exhibits are very well preserved and it offers a window to how the Seralles family got to be one the most affluent families on the island. From the castle gardens, you get to see most of downtown Ponce and on to the Caribbean sea. There's also a gift/coffee shop for snacks as well. The staff was very friendly and made our visit a pleasant experience.
