Surfers love Jobos Beach, which boasts excellent conditions for catching some waves. While the high, consistent currents make the beach unsuitable for snorkeling or swimming, the waves combined with the shallow depth make the beach a favorite for surfers. Less adventurous visitors can bring a kite along to take advantage of the breeze, or relax on the soft golden sands with a picnic. Since this doesn't count as a public beach, lifeguards don't patrol the area; approach swimming with caution and keep a vigilant eye on younger members of the family. Due to a lack of changing facilities, visitors normally make do with changing behind the area's abundant trees. • A very popular and lively beach on the east end where the water is shallow and still. The crowd is young and vibrant with many locals from the town of Isabela. Jobos becomes quieter and unoccupied heading west where the waves break closer to a much steeper part of the beach.
  • Beautiful beach! Loved the atmosphere of this place. Restaurants and bars in front the ocean that was definitely a plus for me. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone:)
