    lots of animals, clean, new place for turtles and monkeys is visibly better than the old one, the only minus is that there is only a plastic version of a fire salamander and no living one

    Many years ago there was an attempt to move the old zoo animals out of the city centre and its noise and pollution. Apparently it didn't work at the time as it resulted in the zoo rats moving out too, and into the houses around. When visiting last week I just enjoyed the green oasis in the middle of the traffic mayhem. Benches to sit on, free toilet. I would prefer to see animals live somewhere quieter.

    It's free to enter. If you are around the area definitely worth walking around the park, of not for the animals for the gardens instead. Very cozy little zoo.
