Paid £10 per person it’s a very small museum, with not much in. Very basic not much of Norwegian history

The exterior of Nasjonalmuseet reminds me of a car parking or even a prison but coming inside is like an immense beauty of brilliant art. This is truly a must for everyone even with the slightest interest in art. The exhibitions are brilliantly presented by themes and timeline and best of all, the lighting of the individual objects are just perfect - I don’t think an exhibition can be presented any better than what is done in this brand-new museum.

Very nice museum, especially perfect for rainy days:) The building itself is seriously impressive. There is a large art exhibition, you also get to see infamous „skrik“/the scream by Edvard Munch. The ground floor offers an amazing collection of old furniture/clothing/ items from various decades. Definitely worth a visit, even on sunny days:)
