To get to the glacier, you have to earn it. First there is a small road, about 25 minutes driving, alongside the mountain, not wide enough for 2 cars. After that you get to a smaller road, where you have to pay toll. This is 50 crowns, in cash, which you deposit in a box. Shortly after that you arrive at a restaurant at the water: Kjenndalstova. Here you have a great view across the water. From here it's a short drive up the mountain until the parking. Next up: hiking. There is about 1.5 kilometers worth of path, stone and bushes to traverse. Then, and only then are you close to the breen 😉 Take a good look around, the view is amazing.
