  • The church is a stalwart, surviving WW2 and hosting those who resurrected the town. See the black and white photos in the lobby. It is shyly located at the top of the Main Street and to the left...

  • We took a cruise to Norway. The cruise took us to several port cities along the west coast of Norway. We started from Southampton. The first Norweigian port was Haugesund and then went on to Honningsvag which mear Cape Nord. We wandered around in Honningsvag and came to this beautiful little church. It was cold and windy so we went in and sat down on the simple red benches inside. We felt good because of the ambience. It was calming and inviting. We lit a candle to remember our daughter and prayed for our friends and ourselves. It was an experience that I still remember now and then. After that we walked through the little town and went to the ship. The town reminded me of small northern Canadian towns and cities we have seen. We felt a strong connection. We loved Honningsvag.
  • Was a church. Has a cemetery outside. Was a long line to go inside, so maybe great to see, but we went hiking instead.
