Mt. Yufu rewards hikers with panoramic views from either of its dual peaks. A stratovolcano, the 1,583.3 m (5,195 ft) mountain has clearly marked trails to each of its peaks, with one rising 1 m (3.2 ft) higher than the other. Both peaks can be conquered in a single trip, but one is a little trickier to tackle, requiring some climbing using the provided chains. Be sure to pack plenty of snacks and water, wear sturdy hiking boots, and check in on the town's information center for a free mountain trail map. I regret I didn't have time to climb the mountain. It's icon for people at Yufu city. I don't know there is good way to access the trail head. May be next time!

Hiked here last December. Stunning winter hiking experience. The bus to the main trailhead was quite convenient as well. Can’t speak for spring or summer, but this is a quality winter destination.
