Formerly an important staging and customs area for the city's busy port, Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse now contains restaurants, shops, galleries, and more within its sturdy walls. This pair of buildings stands out from much of the city's architecture, as the signature red bricks do not feature prominently in historic Japanese construction. Explore the shopping mall within, lined with hardwood flooring, to browse an array of quirky shops selling everything from handmade jewelry to warehouse-themed souvenirs. You can also find a few relatively big-name international brands here. Grab a bite to eat at the food court, which features a range of non-local cuisines and concepts, or head out to the waterfront to enjoy the view over the harbor. Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse reviews
This was a fun place to walk around and see fun artsy stores. Had fun in the umbrella store picking out a sumo wrestler umbrella. The building itself is amazing.

Lovely place to visit in Yokohama. Really nice selection of shops inside, mostly of hand made items and hip, trendy, artistic ones. Lot's of food to choose from, from traditional Japanese, to fusion, to western. This time they had an ice rink outside, but I heard sometimes they also have food festivals (maybe not during the pandemic?). Great if you're walking around and need to stop for a bite or if you want to do some out-of-the-box shopping.
There are always events happening outside the brick warehouse. During summer they have the beach event, spring the flower event, sometimes they have food fair. Winter there used to be ice skating ring. now with Covid, its quite quiet. There are restaurants inside too. Bill’s is my favourite
