Visited this last week..the lake is no big deal although if you have small kids they could feed the swans...The wild life centre or bird sanctuary is very good and a nice walk...

It's perfect for birdwatching, but there were no birds as of February 18. Lake Utonai is covered with ice. However, there were about 30 to 50 chuhi perching in the forest across the national highway. However, the Lake Utonai store is closed, there is no stamp at the roadside station, and it seems that the store will be closed until March. There are no tenants, and there is nothing inside.
