Walk through the history of chocolate while getting sweet treats at Shiroi Koibito Park. Take a peek behind the scenes and watch Hokkaido's iconic edible souvenir--a layer of white chocolate sandwiched between two thin butter cookies--being made. In addition to a chocolate factory where you join a hands-on workshop to create your own munchies, this sweet fantasy land features a shop, a chocolate lounge, a rose garden, and a collection room filled with antiques. Kids will also live riding the miniature steam train and Gulliver Town. Plan trip to Sapporo with our itinerary maker to find out where to go and what to do.

The park is a delight to the eye as well as a treat to the taste buds. Prepare to take a lot of pictures and buy some chocolates for friends and relatives at home

This is my second visit here, everything is vastly different with the pandemic, if anything it felt empty and meaningless. Before the pandemic, this place is alive, happy and felt like a joyous experience. Now, it's more like a historical museum. Small classes of baking and creating your own pastries is still available, along with the unique souvenirs that you can only buy here. Otherwise, the signature cookies can be easily bought anywhere especially New Chitose Airport saving you the need to visit.

Loved everything in this place, the park itself with many roses midAugust, the bubbles and moving characters, the factory inside was amazing. I enjoyed the scenery with hot chocolate in a cafe overlooking the park and mountains. Definitely worth the visit!
