Take the kids to Kids Plaza Osaka, a museum aimed squarely at children, helping them learn through play. Across five themed floors, the museum has kids climbing on surreal structures designed by Austrian architect Friedensreich Hundertwasse, teaching to play weird and wonderful musical instruments from around the world, or becoming police or postal workers in the make-believe town on the fourth floor. You can find plenty more activities on site, and although there is no cafeteria, you're welcome to bring a packed lunch, or can come and go as you please during the visit by showing your pass. Nice clean spacious facility, great for kids to explore and play around! Located next to an equally amazing park with large sides. Due to COVID-19 shortened hours, they're offering everyone 10% off. Temperature check and plenty of alcohol hand sanitizing. Edit: super easy to lose sight of the little one. Also first aid response is really good and friendly here

Great place for kids, so many fun, science based activities with friendly, helpful staff. We spent a solid 3 hours here plus time in the nearby park which has the best slides I have ever experienced. Even adults can enjoy them.
