  • Great place to eat lunch and do some shopping. Can be very busy on the weekend so I would suggest going on a weekday. We spent about 3-4 hours including lunch.

  • They obviously overcharge because it is popular with tourists who are willing to pay. But if you like markets it is worth a visit, lots of sushi for sale and a few small Korean food kiosks.

  • It used to be good. Now it’s just a tourist trap swarming with Chinese tourists spitting everywhere.
  • Went here before the pandemic. This market is always crowded with tourists and locals alike. Kuromon Ichiba Market is a traditional market in Osaka where you can find rows of stalls that sell fresh seafood, mouthwatering snacks, fruits, and also Japanese sweets. The market opens daily from 9am to 6 pm, but some shops closes on Sunday and Public Holidays. Conveniently located in Nippombashi area, you can reach it by taking the train and alight at Nippombashi Station.
