水戸市民の憩いの場として親しまれている湖。湖周辺は特に高い建物や山並みの風景が広がっていないため、良く晴れた日には目いっぱいに青空と澄んだ空気を楽しむことが出来る。一方で曇りの日はやや殺風景に映り、また周囲には雨宿り出来る設備が乏しいため、雨の日の利用はいまいち。西側に芝生の広場があるが、遊具らしいものはほとんど見られない。それが却って余計な騒音無く比較的静かに利用できる公園にもなっている。ジョギ... more

Very Beautiful Park. So relaxing and the view just perfect. You love to stroll around. Many people do jogging and biking here. You can also see a lot of swans and ducks. When I went there as a tourist it was a fun experience. Japanese are quite kind and very respectful. ♥️👍

Nice atmosphere with nature-full area. I loved the park nearby, and the plum tree garden. First visit the plum garden and then enjoy a walk to here is kinda recommended. Don't forget to eat Matcha 🍵 with Matcha sauce ice-cream at cafe near this lake! It was awesome...
