  • Definitely go there if you are nearby, but I wouldn't go out of my way just to see this. This area has special Karst formations dotting the land, and it's unsual in Japanese standards.

  • A windy place to visit. It is quite inconvenient to access. There is no clear sign to point out where the Akiyoshidai bus stop is and because of it we missed the hourly bus. Thankfully we met a kind....  more

  • The cave is a great summer day activity—nice and cool inside! Parking for the day was ¥500. Then we drove up to the fields, where there was free parking. Beautiful and fun day trip!
  • Lovely hills with beautiful wild flowers and grasses. Great walks available and nearby caves, and views of the surrounding mountains in the distance. Definitely worth a look if you are interested in road trips :)
