Create an itinerary including Kitano Ijinkan-gai
Plan a walk between the different buildings of Kitano Ijinkan-gai, a district notable for its "ijinkan" (Western-style homes). Built by American and European traders who settled in the city during the late 19th century, each home possesses its own character and references to the Western origins of its owner. Spot the weathercock atop one house, now something of a symbol of the area as a whole, and take tea in the English-influenced tea room, surrounded by fine porcelain and antique furniture from the Victorian era. • It was raining when we reached there but I enjoyed the views and the amazing wind blowing across. There were no much flowers but there always an attempt to keep the place tidy.

  • Really expensive for what it is. I don't really recommend it. They should improve the visit and rethink the prices.
  • It's a cute neighborhood landmark in Kobe. It's really crowded on weekends and holidays. There's no parking, you need to find out one around there. The streets are very narrow.
