  • Visited 7/6/19-7/7/19. This season was opened just 6 days earlier on 7/1. Was impressed to find absolutely no single trash on trails or anywhere. Just like Yosemite, I suppose all national parks...

  • 11/2/2022 Climbing Betto Encounter → Gozengamine & Onanjigamine lap Japan's three sacred mountains (including Mt. Fuji and Mt. Tate). Japan's 100 Famous Mountains. One hundred mountains of flowers. It can be seen not only from the plains of the Hokuriku region, but also from the three major Alps of Japan. The last eruption of this active volcano was in 1659, near Midorigaike Pond, which shines in emerald green. Crater lakes are scattered around the summit, and some of them are covered with perpetual snow (Gozenmine west side). Hakusan is not a single peak, but a general term for a mountain range. Today, while the first snow of the season remains slightly, I took a day trip around Mt. I will attach photos of Mt. Hakusan, the view from Mt. Hakusan, and the climbing process in order. Using the erosion control new road, Murodo → Gozengamine → Midorigaike → Onanjigamine → Gozengamine west face traverse → Murodo around the summit. The course time is 9 hours and 36 minutes, total 15km, cumulative climbing altitude 1704m. Today, the Sea of Japan side was a sea of clouds, but I was able to see the Northern Alps, Southern Alps, and Mt. Ontake. Gozengamine seen from Amida-gahara in front of Murodo, numerous crater lakes, rocky peaks with lava domes, grass fields undulating in the wind like a green carpet, and autumn foliage in the lower world. I got it. The mountain trail is generally made of rocks, but it is wonderfully maintained with stone stairs, and you can carve fine steps in most places. However, there are andesite stones that are slippery when wet, so be careful not to slip. The same goes for wet wooden paths. From Gozengamine to Midorigaike, there is a steep descent of Goro rock, and the approach of Onanjimine is a steep rocky place, so be careful to secure 3 points. Another dangerous area is the long traverse from Jinnosuke Evacuation Hut to Kuroboko Rock. Almost all the way up to Gozengamine, the loop course has big ups and downs. The forest zone is not deep, but the view is completely open from the Jinnosuke shelter. Have a nice climb everyone!
  • It is one of Japan's three sacred mountains. During the Obon holiday, I went climbing with my friend. With an altitude of 2,702m, it is also the highest peak in Ishikawa Prefecture. Since there is an elevation difference of 1,500m from the separate encounter at the trailhead, I went up the mountain trail for a little over 6km. The course is Kanko Shindo, a road for advanced riders, with steep slopes and intense slopes. I was pretty dizzy. I still managed to climb to the top, but unfortunately the summit was gassed and a little 😞💨. But there is no harm in trying to climb it once. Good mountain 😃
