Had a lot of fun skiing here in late December. Beginner slopes felt slightly longer than the ones in Niseko Annupuri, the lift could only take 2 pax at a time, and the snow is wetter (which means more slippery). However, it's way way less crowded than Niseko.

Travelled from New Zealand to ski here, 21 December but only quarter of the area is open despite plenty of snow. Website says it would be open from mid December. There are no shuttles for people staying at the side which is closed. Skiable area open is small and lift lines long in the morning . Tickets are not discounted to reflect small skiing area.
